The costume we have chosen for the antagonist which will be the killer clown, will be a blue boiler suit tied around his waist, with a plain white t-shirt underneath, possible ripped in places, smudged in dirt and splattered with blood for effects. We thought this would be better then a clown outfit because we couldn't find a clown outfit that fitted the sinister theme we were looking for, and could only find childish themed costumes.
The costume for the protagonist and her boyfriend will be casual clothing for the first half of the trailer, and then a change of clothing of either other casual clothing or sleepwear to indicate a different timing or day.
The costume for our chief will be a plain suit to indicate his professionalism. The make-up for the characters will be natural for the chief and boyfriend, simple make-up for the protagonist, and yellow face paint around the clowns eyes and a white neck to blend in with the clown's mask.
The weapon we will use will be a fake axe that he will carry as it is a large and often has violent connotations. The clothes/makeup will have hints of red to link to the circus theme in a subtle way. be stood behind a podium.
All of our props will be regular household objects as it's filmed in a regular house setting however there will be cameras used as props.
