Update Week 10-13
In the past couple of weeks, we have been able to film the last remaining scene and start editing the Trailer, now that we have all of our footage. We have made a rough cut but not yet added the ambient sound to the trailer, or properly edited the footage at the end of the trailer.
Trailer Rough Cut 1
Trailer Rough Cut 1 & Feedback
This is out 1st Rough Cut:
In out first Rough Cut, we made a chronological ordered trailer which after showing our first audience, found that this made an unrealistic view for a trailer. This was one of our own feedback options to improve on.
The feedback off our audience suggested that maybe we could cut up the police report into sections because it ran for too long. Someone also suggested putting the end part of the police report at the end of the trailer to help mix up the order. We really liked this idea as we thought that it would symbolically show that the end of the report foreshadows the end of the character's lives.
Another person also suggested that we should take out some of the boring scenes to make the trailer a bit shorter because we were giving off a bit too much information, which seemed irrelevant for a Trailer.
We found all of our feedback really useful and we think that we should try include all of this into our trailer to help it look better and more professional.

Filming 3
This week we have managed to film that last part to our trailer which is the Chief of Police scene. Unfortunately we couldn't film where we originally planned which was outside Oxclose Academy, due to lack of time, so we filmed inside one of the college's classrooms with a different actor than we also originally planned due to opportunity. Now we are able to start editing the missing scene of out trailer.
In this scene we managed to find some of the props we planned to use much as the mircophones. We also asked some photography students to come behind the camera and take some pictures of the actor to give the flashes and camera sounds to make the interview look and sound more realistic. However, we couldn't get the red tie like we planned due to lack of time and opportunity of when our actor was free.
