Make Up Test

The make up for the characters of the protagonist and the boyfriend was just normal, natural makeup including light make up on the main character. For the clown however, we wanted to add a bit of colour to the clowns neck to match the mask and possibly add some colour around the eyes.

For the clown, we used white acrylic paint for his neck so the make up was heavy and thick and therefore better to see for the camera. We tried normal White paint but the colour was too light and so we decided to use acrylic due to the fact we couldn't get a hold of any white face paint for an affordable price in a short amount of time.

The make up in this photo, you can see the clowns white neck goes down to his t-shirt to blend in with the costume. In the second image you can see that we tried paint ting around his eyes with yellow face paint paint, the White acrylic paint and also black eye liner.

Although it looked quite effective, we found that wen we were filming, you were unable to see the detail around his eyes becauseof the shadow of the mask within his eye sockets. Because of this decided to take off the make up around his eyes but we would like to try use the make up around his eye for the poster as we have planned to do a close up on the clown mask.
